Redgate Beach in the South West
Redgate Beach is a very nice beach with beautiful white sand and great surf with the right weather conditions. There are several rips along the short beach and it is very easy for swimmers to be taken further out to sea. However it is still a very popular beach for surfers who are aware of the dangers. It is also a great place to just soak up the sun on the beach. The beach is located on the south side of Isaacs rocks. The beach is west facing and is fully exposed to the Indian Ocean.
Redgate Beach (WA 652) is located on the southern side of Isaacs Rock. It is a 350 m long, west-facing relatively exposed beach bordered by granulite rocks and boulders. This beach is not patrolled by surf life savers so do not surf alone at this beach.
Photographers will also find some great places to capture a great photo. Especially when the ocean is a bit rough and the waves crash onto the large granite rocks just off the shore. Get your timing right and you can get a spectacular spray of water as the waves meet to rock.
