Perth Beaches

Perth Beaches are renowned as being some of the best beaches you will find anywhere in the world.


Western Australia has about 12,000 kilometers of coast line. Much of this is ideal white pristine sands that are perfect for swimming, sun baking, fishing, surfing and wind surfing.

It does not matter what type of activities you enjoy in the water, you will find it here on Perth beaches.

Cottesloe Beach is the perfect place for a swim, surf or to go snorkeling. The Norfolk pines on the foreshore provide good shade and they line the Boulevard.  Pubs and cafes are here and is where you can get a drink on a hot summers day. Or maybe grab a meal when the hunger arrives.

Cottesloe beach is one of Perth’s most popular, there is also a great play ground for the kids to enjoy.

Scarborough Beach

For the teenagers and young adults, Scarborough Beach is the place to be seen. This beach really comes to life in the hotter summer months.

Scarborough beach on the “Sunset Coast” of Western Australia is one of the most popular beaches around. It is situated very close to the city and has every thing that a holiday maker could wish for.

The transport to and from the city to most of the beaches in Perth is very good with regular bus services that run throughout the day

Accommodation is almost always available, it can be a little more difficult to find during the busiest time of the year when many tourist come to this part of the country for the sun and surf that we can offer.

The accommodation at Scarborough beach will range from the most economical right through to the best hotel rooms right on the water edge.

Scarborough beach like most of the beaches in Perth Western Australia is patrolled by our Surf Life Savers who do an amazing job of keeping our swimmers safe from the dangers of the ocean. If you follow their directions then you can expect a really enjoyable day at the sea side.
