The Busselton Jetty is one of the main tourist attractions in the South West of Western Australia. It is the longest wooden piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. The upkeep of the jetty is funded by a non-profit community called Busselton Jetty Inc.
There is an interpretive center at the start of the jetty where souvenirs can be purchased. The proceeds from these also go towards the upkeep.
At the end of the Jetty is an underwater observatory where you can view the many different species of fish in the area.
The jetty is 1.8 kilometers long. The remains of some of the old original jetty are still there.
